The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts Presents the 22nd Annual Holiday Open House
Celebrate the start of the holiday season at the 22nd annual Holiday Open House at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts on Saturday, December 2, from 1 to 4 P.M. Admission is free, but visitors are encouraged to bring canned goods to benefit the Montgomery Area Food Bank and new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. Holiday Open House will feature musical performances by local school choirs, festive artmaking activities, horse-drawn carriage rides through the park, a Christmas tree adorned with hand-made ornaments created for the Museum by Alabama artists, and an appearance by Santa Claus.
In addition to these holiday treats, the Museum invites guests to view these exhibitions Uncommon Territory: Contemporary Art in Alabama; Rodin: Realism, Fragments, and Abstraction; Southern Accents; Principally Paper and the ARTWORKS Corridor student exhibition, Emergent Viewpoints: Art in Alabama Today. Also, while you enjoy the FREE cookies and lemonade, stop by the Museum Store to do some of your holiday shopping from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. You can also make reservations for our Saturday brunch at Café M from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. at 334.240.4339.
