The City of Montgomery is proud to introduce Billy Neese as our featured Employee of the Month. Billy has been a telecommunications technician for seventeen years, part of the team that keeps the departments and City employees in contact with each other and the world at large. He repairs and installs land line communication equipment, cell phones, and Nextel-type radios; he assigns new phone numbers, maintains the City’s cell phone contact list, and trains employees how to use the telephone equipment.

Billy’s family includes two daughters, ages 15 and 10. When he is not at work, he enjoys computer programming, construction of chain mail armor and accessories, and attending church.

Billy believes telecommunications is a rewarding career because: “I love to see the smiles on people’s faces when I arrive to repair their telephone problems. I know that what I do for the City makes a difference.” Thank you, Billy for being part of our team.
