The City of Montgomery is responsible for establishing the City's policies. The City Council is the Legislative Branch of City Government. The Council is comprised of nine (9) members who are elected on a non-partisan ballot. The term of office is four (4) years. The Montgomery City Council meets every first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and every third Tuesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, First Floor, Room 142, City Hall, 103 N. Perry Street.
