LIBRARIES GOING WIRELESS
The Montgomery City-County Public Library now has free wireless Internet access at the Juliette Hampton Morgan Memorial Library, 245 High Street, Rufus A. Lewis Regional Library, 3095 Mobile Highway, E L Lowder Regional Library, 2590 Bell Road, Coliseum Blvd Branch Library, 840 Coliseum Blvd. and Rosa Parks Avenue Branch, 1276 Rosa Parks Avenue. Patrons with wireless-enabled laptop computers can access the Internet from anywhere in the building.

“This is a huge step forward for the library,” said Library Director Jaunita Owes. “More people will be able to access the library’s databases and the Internet than ever before.” The Morgan Library already has a computer lab with eighteen public access computers, and nine additional workstations in the Reference Department and six in the Children’s Department. All ten of Montgomery’s public library facilities will soon offer wireless access.
