HERBICIDE SPRAYING

In accordance with the Federal Law, all herbicide products are applied in a manner consistent with the product label. Herbicide chemicals are utilized to control vegetation growth of weeds and grasses in non-crop areas such as drainage ditch banks, fence rows, roadsides, and right-of-ways. We commonly use Oust XP Herbicide and 2,4-D Amine Herbicide for weed control. 912 Herbicide is useful for grass control. For the best results, these products are applied before or during the early stages of growth before root systems are developed and established. During the month of February the Oust XP Herbicide is sprayed which is before the weeds are actively growing. This controls weeds by both pre-emergence and post-emergence activity. The 2,4-D Amine Herbicide is sprayed at the beginning of April when the weeds are young and actively growing. The 912 Herbicide is also sprayed during the month of April when the grass really starts growing and the temperature has reached 70 degrees. These products are handled, stored and disposed of in accordance with the specifications of the precautionary statements of the product labels.
