We maintain all sidewalks on City right-of-ways. Sidewalks are usually damaged by heavy equipment during construction, large trucks/buses, tree roots, sewer and water pipe failures, and soil erosion or shifting. Requests for the installation of new sidewalks in neighborhoods should be made to the Council members.

CURB AND GUTTER REPAIR

Curbs and gutters are utilized to efficiently flow storm water to the drainage inlets. It is very important to keep leaves, pine needles and silt from causing build ups in the gutters. This will impede the flow of water. We make repairs only when a section of curbing has been extremely damaged to prevent injuries or deteriorated to the extent that it impedes the flow of water.
