The mission of the Gang Intervention Team is to provide the City of Montgomery Police Department and it's officers with the most updated data and trends of gangs and gang members.

Our goal is to take and aggressive, professional and proactive approach to identifying, recording and training the officers and citizens of this fast growing phenomenon known as "GANGS". Most important is to intervene and re-direct individuals that are being recruited into gangs, or showing signs of possible gang involvement, back into the mainstream of today's society.

We are dedicated and prepared to do what is necessary to uphold our goals and make our communities a safer place to live.
