Response from the students in all grade levels has been encouraging. Many students have written letters, sent pictures and made cards to express their appreciation for the presentation and pledged to prevent litter and to recycle.

GRANTS

COMMUNITY SERVICE WORKERS

* John W. Davis Boot Camp
We work with youth from the Boot Camp for special projects. They clean ditches, pickup litter and work at the recycling center.

* Juvenile Delinquent Program
MCCC coordinates all juveniles used by the Sanitation Department at its Saturday Trash Pick-up points and maintains all records on them.

* Municipal Court
Montgomery Clean City Commission participates in the Municipal Court's community service worker program. The staff uses community service workers in program activities, such as office work, literature distribution and litter cleanups.
