Various public and private streets are constructed each year which are dedicated to the City for future maintenance. The Engineering Department is responsible for inspection services performed on these projects for infrastructure placed in the public right-of-ways. The City Engineering Inspectors work with engineers, contractors, and developers to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.

No construction activities are authorized without approved construction plans. Currently, there are approximately 45 subdivision developments being inspected.
