Dear Business Leader: This letter is to familiarize local businesses, city, county, and state agencies with the “We Can Make a Difference” job program (WCMAD). The job program was established in May 2008 to assist students and young adults with finding employment. This designed job fair is a way of assisting your company/business with finding good and serious minded people interested in employment or career opportunities. Employers who participated in the past three job fairs have employed nearly 280 job seekers from nearly 1000 teenagers and young adults. This year’s event will take place at the Bellingrath Middle Gymnasium on Friday, June 22 2012, from 10:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. Please consider being a part of this effort by either a financial donation or, if possible, providing a temporary or permanent position with your company. We are a 501-C (3) organization. Either way, you will be helping to give an opportunity for someone to learn about and experience job training.
