The Department of Engineering and Environmental Services encompasses the Engineering Division and the Landfill Division. Department services are principally offered to other Departments within the City, as well as various public and private agencies. The Departmental services include: Subdivision and Commercial Development Plan Review; Survey; Design and Drafting; Property and Plat Research; Flood Mitigation and Determination; Stormwater Management; Construction Coordination and Inspection; Bridge Inspection; and Landfill Management. Our departmental Mission is to coordinate the design, construction, maintenance, and management of the City's infrastructure to adequately support the various needs of the citizens of Montgomery.
