This section will address issues related to addressing and promoting the department's Crime Prevention Program, as well as Business and Neighborhood Watch Programs. They meet with individual businesses and neighborhood groups to give guidance in setting up Watch Programs. They also conduct home and business security surveys to help determine areas that can be improved upon to better prevent burglary and theft.
Officers also utilize McGruff the Crime Dog to speak to groups on ways to fight crime and live safer. Click here to email a request for McGruff appearance. Be sure to include location, number of children and contact phone number/name.
