What: Community Prayer Gathering When: Thursday, May 6, 2010 Where: Old Amphitheater – Riverfront (Enter through the tunnel on Commerce Street) Time: 7:30 a.m. The City of Montgomery and the Montgomery County Commission will host a community prayer gathering on May 6, 2010 which is designated as the National Day of Prayer. The public is invited to join Mayor Todd Strange, Chairman Elton Dean and religious leaders from the community for a short program at the Old Amphitheater on the Riverfront. This will be a time where all members of society can come together for one common goal, to pray for our local leaders, military, community, prosperity and unity. Also, there will be musical performances by the Trinity Presbyterian Show Choir. Coffee and juice will be available to everyone who attends compliments of the City of Montgomery. In the case of rain, the gathering will be moved to the Union Station Train Shed.
