Jubilee CityFest, Montgomery, Ala.’s largest family festival, has been surveying the public and has come to a decision regarding the date of the festival. Jubilee CityFest is excited to announce that the 2007 festival date will be APRIL 27-28. The festival plans to have stages at the same locations as last year, which includes the Riverfront Amphitheatre on the banks of the Alabama River with additional stages in the downtown area. Jubilee CityFest, Montgomery’s Family Weekend, plans to take advantage of the cooler weather, students in school and no holiday weekend to compete for patrons.

“With a decision like this, we wanted to consider every option. After numerous surveys with the public, there was an overwhelming response to change the date of Jubilee CityFest to the end of April,” said Betty Roberts, 2007 chairperson. “A lot of consideration has been given to this decision and it was important to us to have community input regarding Jubilee CityFest. I think most everyone will be excited to try a new weekend and we look forward to enjoying the festival in cooler weather.”
