Welcome to the City of Montgomery Benefits Division web page. This division provides and maintains a competitive benefits package for eligible employees and their dependents as well as provide wellness incentives with the utilization of the City’s Primary Care & Wellness Centers.

Employee benefits are composed of Core benefits offered by the City and Voluntary benefits through Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company.

Core Benefits include the Group Health Plan, Vision Plan, Flexible Spending Accounts, Basic Life Insurance, Deferred Compensation, and YMCA Discount Membership.

Voluntary Benefits through Colonial include Term/Whole Life Insurance, Group Specified Disease Insurance, Disability, Cancer, Hospital Confinement, and Accident Insurance. These voluntary benefits can be viewed at

    With the International Drug Program, you can choose to receive certain brand name medication from international sources such as Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, Turkey, United Kingdom, or Mauritius for free. Only medication on the Eligible Drug List are available under this program. Medications that are readily available in generic form from the United States, injectable, and temperature sensitive or labeled as controlled substances are not eligible under this program.
