Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 13-2003 for the property located on the south side of Ray Thorington Road, Approximately 2600 feet east of Park Crossing (aka: 1740 Ray Thorington Road), to remove restrictions. Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2002-026)  (8)  Carried over August 5, 2025.

13. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning property containing 180 acres (+/-) located on the east side of Norman Bridge Road, approximately 1100 feet south of Hyundai Boulevard, from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to an M-12 (Light Industry) Zoning District (aka 5733 Norman Bridge Road.  (PJ/near Dist. 4)

14. Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Contracts without Council Approval.  (Sponsored by Councillor Calhoun)

15. Application for a Lounge Retail Liquor – Class II (Package) License by Liquor Factory of USA Inc., d/b/a Liquor Factory, 1508 South Decatur Street.  (7)

16. Resolution imposing a Six Month Moratorium on the issuance of 010-Longe Liquor-Class I Licenses and 011-Lounge Liquor (Package)-Class II Licenses with the COM.  (Sponsored by Councillor Mitchell)

17. Ordinance renaming Capitol Commerce Boulevard to Alfa Drive. Recommended by the Planning Commission.

19. Application for a Restaurant Retail Liquor License by Mong Chon Korean Restaurant LLC, d/b/a Mong Chon, 2801 Vaughn Plaza Road Suite T.  (8)

20. Application for a Lounge Retail-Class I Liquor License by Krush Bar LLC, d/b/a Krush Bar, 79 Commerce Street.  (3)

21. Resolution appointing William Boyd to the Housing Authority by Councillor Mitchell replacing Iesha Brooks.

22. Resolution reappointing Bernice Robertson to the Water and Sewer Board by Councillor Mitchell. 

23. Resolution assessing the cost of abatement of unsafe structures at various locations pursuant to Section 11-53B-1 et Seq, Code of Alabama.

24. Resolution declaring public nuisances, authorizing immediate abatement and assessing cost of abatement of public nuisances on various lots pursuant to Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances.
