Ted Rhodes Junior Golf Championship
The 2026 Ted Rhodes Junior Golf Championship will take place in Montgomery, Alabama at Gateway Park Golf Course, providing local youth golfers ages 5–18 with an opportunity to compete, grow, and develop their skills in a positive and supportive environment.
Hosted by the Ted Rhodes Foundation, this championship is part of the Foundation’s Future Golfers of America programming and serves as the first stop on the 2026 Ted Rhodes Junior Golf Tour.
In addition to tournament competition, Troon Golf will sponsor a Community Swing Event, open to the public and designed to engage families, youth, and community members of all ages. The Community Swing Event will feature interactive golf activities, food, music, and family-friendly entertainment, while giving attendees the opportunity to experience the junior championship and learn more about the game.
The Community Swing Event will serve as an introduction to golf for young people and families who may be new to the sport, reinforcing the event’s mission of growing the game and making golf accessible to the entire Montgomery community.
The event is presented in partnership with the LEO Foundation and LEO Golf Academy, whose commitment to youth development, mentorship, and golf education continues to create meaningful opportunities for young golfers across the River Region.
