HandsOn River Region Volunteer of the Year Awards
For over 50 years, HandsOn River Region has proudly hosted the Volunteer of the Year Awards to honor the individuals and groups who make a powerful difference through selfless service. Each year during National Volunteer Week, we recognize those who go above and beyond to uplift their neighbors, strengthen our communities, and inspire a spirit of compassion across the River Region. This year’s event will be held on April 16, 2026 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Award Categories:
Adult - Honors an individual whose lasting volunteerism has significantly impacted one or more community causes.
Adult Group – Recognizes a team of adults volunteering collaboratively to address community needs.
Youth (College student and younger) - Celebrates a young person who embodies the spirit of service and leadership.
Youth Group (College students and younger) - Acknowledges school- or faith-based youth teams working together for community good.
