Groovin' in the Garden

  • Introduction: The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts’ Junior Executive Board is hosting the first-ever Groovin’ in the Garden in the Museum’s John and Joyce Caddell Sculpture Garden.

Join us for live performances by the Coleman Woodson Group, Souled Out Groove, and Kirk Jay & Kuntry Funk, on Friday,
November 8, 2019. The gates open at 6 PM and the show starts at 7 PM. This event promises to be an evening of soulful
performances starting with smooth jazz, transitioning into rhythm and blues, and ending with country music with a funky twist!
Sponsored by UAB School of Medicine-Montgomery Campus, media sponsors Cumulus Radio and iHeart Radio, and VIP beverage sponsor Pine Bar, this event is a
celebration of the arts–an array of musical stylings in a setting filled with a spectacular variety of sculpture–designed to entice the River Region’s music and art lovers during an evening out at their Museum!

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Attendees are required to have a
valid ID to purchase alcohol. No coolers, outside food, or drink are permitted. Guests
are encouraged to come early and bring their blankets and lawn chairs. This is a rain-or-
shine event.

Tickets are on sale now; general admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are $50. After
November 1, 2019, general admission is $20, and VIP is $60. The VIP package includes
food and drink plus a meet-and-greet with band members before the show.
