  • Introduction: Help us learn how to save the planet and protect our environment at our Earth Day Safari Educational Event at the Montgomery Zoo.

Attention teachers and educators, Earth Day Safari is the perfect outdoor classroom designed to teach students and adults alike how to help save the planet and protect our environment. Mark your calendars, Earth Day Safari Educational Event, April 22-23, 9:30am - 2pm at Montgomery Zoo. Spend a fun-filled, adventurous day learning how making simple changes in our daily habits can affect the environment, wildlife, plant life, and the planet on which we live. It is fun, educational, always a wild adventure, and an awesome learning experience for all ages, especially for school groups and science classes.   

Admission includes
     -- Entry to the Zoo and Mann Museum 
     -- Entry Waters of the World
     -- View our Reptile Junction 

 Additional fun, attractions, and rides
     -- Giraffe Encounter: $3 per person for groups and members, non-members: $4
     -- Sky lift ride: $5 per person for groups and members, non-members: $6
     -- Concessions: Prices vary

MAKE YOUR SCHOOL GROUP RESERVATION NOW!
When you arrive at the online reservation form, you will first select the date you wish to visit the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum then begin completing the reservation form. If you have any questions and/or problems with the online reservation form, please contact our Reservation Office at (334) 625-4900.

or you may download the reservation form below and submit it to the Zoo

Download your SCHOOL GROUP RESERVATION FORM (updated January 2026) and submit back to us:

  • Email completed reservation form to zooinfo@montgomeryal.gov,
  • FAX to (334) 625-4916, or
  • USPS mail to the Montgomery Zoo, Attn: Group Reservation, 2301 Coliseum Parkway, Montgomery, AL 36110.

Lunch order reservations: If you are planning on making a lunch order reservation for your school group, all orders must be placed two-weeks in advance of your visit date. Thank you for you cooperation. This will help us better prepare for you and your group. 

TEACHERS AVOID THE WAIT -- arrange to get your wristbands and tickets early. To pay for and pick up your wristbands prior to your visit date, please call (334) 625-4905 to make arrangements. Please do yourself a favor, and us favor and please do not just show up at the front gate without an appointment. If you live too far away to swing by the Zoo, we can make arrangements to mail your wristbands and tickets certified USPS mail. For more info, please call (334) 625-4905. Then on the scheduled visit date, you and your group can bypass the lines waiting for wristbands and tickets.
