William A. Green, Jr. is a former U.S. Marine. He graduated from Alabama State University in 1992 with a degree in Accounting. Immediately after graduation, he worked as a stockbroker with Chatfield Dean in Atlanta. After leaving Chatfield Dean, he continued his career in investment banking at SunTrust Bank in the mortgaged backed securities department where he designed an award winning computer system to process numerous securities cutting the amount of time to process mortgages from several days to a couple of hours.
It was at SunTrust through designing systems to make his and others jobs easier and more efficient where William discovered his love for information technology and the various opportunities in computer consulting. This love led him to pursue a career in computer consulting with Oracle Corporation as a business analyst in 1997. In 2000, William founded William Delaney Consulting specializing in Oracle Financials implementations and staff augmentations. William has implemented financial systems for Fortune 500 companies such as Delta, Motorola and CSX as well as local and national government entities as well as the military. William Delaney Consulting is currently expanding into mobile development to take advantage of the growing market developing custom mobile applications for small businesses.
William currently lives in Montgomery Alabama where he sits on the city council representing the constituents of district 5. He is also the chairman of the Montgomery chapter of the Alabama Minority GOP and serves on the executive committee of the Montgomery County Republicans. He is also on the Board of Accountancy at Alabama State University. He is an ordained minister at Fresh Anointing House of Worship in Montgomery, Alabama. William is married to Marla Green and is the father to two lovely daughters, Nichole and Spencer Green.
