All new hires must attend the New Employee Orientation and complete Benefit Enrollment within 30 days of hire. After completion of Orientation, new hires will meet with a Colonial Life Benefits Counselor to enroll in the following benefits:
Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, Voluntary Life Insurance, and Colonial Life Voluntary benefits (Group Specified Disease, Whole/Term Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Hospital Confinement, and Accident Insurance)
Benefits start the 1st of the month following enrollment.
Employees have the option to enroll in the Group Health Plan (Medical, Dental, Prescription, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse) when they complete all new hire paperwork. The Group Health Plan starts 30 days from hire date unless the employee provides a Proof of Coverage Letter in which case insurance will start the date of hire.
