Passing through (including getting gas) from outside Montgomery to your home outside of our city

How do I obtain a permit to park a vehicle inside an assembly?
Call (334) 625-3916 to schedule an appointment. Once the vehicle is in the assembly area, the Fire Inspector will inspect the vehicle to ensure it meets fire code requirements. The fee is $75.00, cash or check only.

If a violation is found during the initial inspection and free re-inspection will be scheduled. If the violations have not been corrected upon re-inspection, a $75.00 Re-Inspection fee will be assessed.
What if I have to work?
You’re exempted. The curfew does not apply to people supplying or restocking businesses, including home improvement, groceries, fuel delivery locations, pharmacies or other retailers offering emergency supplies, transportation of fuels, movement of equipment and personnel for the provision of humanitarian support, and movement of equipment necessary for the protection of critical infrastructure or public safety.

Why did the city of Montgomery invoke a curfew?
