The Foster Grandparents Program is part of the AmeriCorps network, focusing on connecting older adults (55 and older) with children who need extra attention and care. Volunteers, called Foster Grandparents, serve in local  community centers. They provide mentorship, academic support, and a sense of belonging to children who benefit from their guidance.

In Montgomery, our program is deeply embedded in the community, working alongside schools and youth programs to help kids thrive. Through the simple yet powerful act of volunteering, you will create bonds that last a lifetime while making an incredible difference in the future of our youth.

Complete: 20 hours of preservice training.
