Braxton Barker is a strategic design leader and Air Force veteran with a passion for improving how systems serve people. As a Senior Product Designer and UX Design Operations Manager supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, he leads efforts to modernize government systems, making them more accessible, efficient, and user-centered for veterans and staff.

With a background spanning the Department of Defense and federal contracting, Braxton brings experience bridging design, technology, and mission-driven outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Software Design from Auburn University at Montgomery and is pursuing a master’s degree in Government Contracting and Procurement from the University of Dayton.

Outside of his professional work, Braxton is an active member of Montgomery’s creative community, using art and design to highlight culture, tell local stories, and bring people together. His work has been featured in local galleries, and he is committed to using creativity as a tool for community impact and civic pride.
