Dalisa Bennett is a Licensed Cosmetologist and entrepreneur who owns DB Elegance, a brand known for delivering exceptional, high-quality services rooted in excellence and care. She currently serves as Secretary for the Julius Bennett Hope Scholarship, where she works alongside Director Shernovius Bennett and Co-Director Lisa McDay to lead strategic initiatives, coordinate impactful events, and support meaningful change within the Lowndes County community. Through this work, she helps advance a legacy rooted in service, leadership, and empowerment.

Dalisa is a proud member of the Leadership Montgomery Torchbearers Class XV. She is also a graduate of Alabama State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with a 3.9 GPA and made the Dean’s List every semester.

During her time at ASU, Dalisa was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, served as a Student Representative for the Visual Art Department, and was crowned Miss Blue and White for Phi Beta Sigma, Inc., Gamma Beta Chapter. She is also a member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., Delta Rho Chapter, where she served as Dean of Intake and held leadership roles including President and Treasurer for impactful campus organizations.
