Destiny Williams Levy is a social impact organizer working at the intersection of democracy, narrative, land, and cultural preservation. As Social Impact Director and Program Manager at Alabama Values, she leads initiatives that strengthen pro-democracy infrastructure and center historically marginalized communities across Alabama.

Her work is grounded in collective impact, building cross-sector relationships and aligning people, resources, and strategy to address complex social challenges. Rooted in history and memory, Destiny connects past and present to develop creative, community-driven solutions that move beyond traditional approaches to civic engagement.

Destiny also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Blackyard, LLC, where she leads the Alabama River Diversity Network, advancing environmental justice through the connection of biodiversity, history, and culture in the Black Belt.

Her foundation includes work with the Black Heritage Council of the Alabama Historical Commission, service as an educator with Teach for America’s Delta Corps, and experience as Cultural Heritage Manager at Alabama State University. In 2025, she was selected as a Berlin Fellow and Social Justice Fellow. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Alabama State University, Destiny is also a poet, lyricist, and dedicated member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.
