Jada Finley McGhee is a native Montgomerian and proud product of the Montgomery Public School System’s magnet program. She went on to attend Vanderbilt University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development with minors in Child Psychology and Mental Health. While at Vanderbilt, she led student ministry groups and research groups, ran a small business, and maintained a 3.7 GPA.

Now back in Montgomery, Jada is continuing to pursue her passion for children and mental health as a Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s student at Alabama State University. She also serves as her graduate department’s graduate assistant and as president of the Counselor Education Student Association (CESA).

Outside of coursework, Jada enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends, as well as cooking, writing poetry, and serving at her home church, Fresh Anointing House of Worship (FAHOW).
