Jada Flanagan is a Registered Nurse and Clinical Informatics Specialist dedicated to advancing healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes through the integration of clinical practice and technology. A Selma, Alabama native, Jada moved to Montgomery to attend Alabama State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and served as an undergraduate Physics Research Analyst. Her academic background in science and research laid the foundation for her passion for healthcare and community impact.

Jada began her nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Health, where she developed a strong commitment to patient-centered care before transitioning into Clinical Informatics Nursing. In her current role, she works at the intersection of healthcare and information technology, improving clinical workflows, supporting the implementation of innovative health systems, and equipping clinical teams with the tools and knowledge needed to enhance patient care.

Through her involvement with the Mayor’s Young Professional Council, Jada hopes to contribute to initiatives that strengthen community well-being, support innovation, and foster collaborative leadership across Montgomery. She believes meaningful progress happens when professionals from diverse backgrounds come together to invest in the future of their city.
