Miya Black is a native of Dothan, Alabama and moved to Montgomery in 2018. She is a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has worked at both Baptist Medical Center South and Jackson Hospital in multiple areas, including the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Emergency Room, and Intensive Care Unit. She is currently gaining experience as a travel nurse across the United States.
Miya is also a Captain in the Air Force stationed at Dannelly Field Air National Guard Base and has served her country for 14 years. In her spare time, Miya enjoys spending quality time with her family, attending sporting events, traveling, and volunteering in her community.
