Morgan Clausell grew up in Uriah, Alabama, just south of Montgomery. In 2014, she attended Huntingdon College to pursue her dream of becoming a physical therapist while actively serving in several campus organizations, including as a Huntingdon Ambassador and a four-year majorette in the band. Morgan graduated with honors from Huntingdon College in 2018, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science.

Morgan attended the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Alabama State University, where she graduated with honors in August 2023. During her time at Alabama State, she and her research team presented a year-long research project on Cultural Competence in Physical Therapy at the Physical Therapy Combined Sections Meeting in San Diego, California. Their work was recognized with a Blue Ribbon Award for Social Responsibility in the profession.

Morgan’s faith is very important to her, and she is passionate about serving wherever she is needed. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing pickleball with friends, and mentoring young adults by providing guidance, resources, and encouragement to help them achieve their goals.

With a servant’s heart and a passion for community engagement, Morgan has served on the Mayor’s Young Professional Council for two years and now serves as Marketing Chair. Serving on the council has opened many doors for Morgan and created opportunities that have made a lasting impact.
