Sheldon Martin is a Montgomery native and local small business owner who currently owns Chantilly Boutique. She earned her Bachelor of Communication and Information Sciences in Public Relations and Marketing from The University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University.

As a local business owner, Sheldon has a significant stake in the success of small businesses in the community and how that success can lead to broader opportunities for the city. She is deeply motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the community that has consistently supported her.

Sheldon’s current passion project involves addressing poverty and homelessness alleviation in the River Region, where she serves on the Executive Board of Directors for Friendship Mission, Inc. She is also active in the Junior League of Montgomery, was named a 2024 Cancer Wellness Foundation Woman in Blue and a 2024 Central Alabama 40 Under 40 honoree, serves in the Montgomery Modern Affinity Group at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, volunteers with Meals on Wheels for the Montgomery Council on Aging, and has previously served as an Administrative Board member at First United Methodist Church.
