The Montgomery Hometown Heroes Banner Program allows family members and friends to purchase commemorative street-pole banners (24x73) displayed throughout the downtown area. Each banner features the veteran’s photo, name, rank, branch of service, and years served, serving as a proud reminder of their sacrifice and service.

New Banner: $300 (displayed for three years)
Renewal Banner: $200 (extends display for an additional three years)

Banners are guaranteed for three (3) years of display. If a banner rips, breaks, or tears during that time, the City of Montgomery and/or the Veterans Commission will replace it at no cost using program funds.

Complete the Hometown Heroes Banner Program Form

• High-resolution military photograph (minimum 1500 × 2100 pixels, 9MB, or 5”×7” print size)

• For renewals, a new photo is not required unless you wish to update it

Veteran banners are displayed once per year, for approximately four weeks, during October and November.
