Home MenuAmerica 250 City Art Poster Contest
Celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial by telling Montgomery’s story through art—open to artists of all ages and skill levels.
Montgomery is joining cities across the country in commemorating America’s 250th anniversary with a creative initiative that invites artists of all ages to showcase their talent and civic pride. The United States Conference of Mayors (USCM), in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), announced the America 250 City Art Poster Project—and Montgomery is proud to participate.
Local artists—professional, amateur, and students—are invited to design posters that celebrate Montgomery’s history while inspiring hope for the next 250 years. Submissions may come from individuals or through community organizations such as schools, libraries, arts agencies, and nonprofits.
